Change Jar Apps Fund
Just turned a jar of change (pennies, nickels, and dimes) into iTunes credits at a coin star machine. Got a few apps to make the iPad more complete. Plants vs Zombies HD, oh yea! Guess the change jar is going to be my apps fund from now on.
May jailbreak it when things are more stable, but not right now.

AT&T Data Plans
Came back just in time to sign up for the unlimited data plan on my iPad. Damn you AT&T and Apple, this isn't what you advertised! I'll be using the data plan as much as I can! Now that the data plan is capped, I'm not sure about the new iPhone. Will have to think about it.

The iPad Has Landed
Just got the iPad yesterday, so far so good. Activated, synced, and started downloading all the free apps that looks good. Heard about GodFinger, gonna have to give that a try.
Only thing is that it doesn't charge on my desktop or netbook's USB ports, which is pretty much what I expected. Just a little annoyed that I have another power plug to worry about.

Waiting For My iPad
Yep, I ordered an iPad. I know it's just a big iPod Touch, but it seems like a great web browsing tool. It'll be useful in those times when I just want to check something on the web but don't want to boot up the computer. But I'll have to wait to see how much I actually use it. The worst part is the wait, they are making me wait 2 weeks. Err...
No jailbreak yet, I'll let this new spirit jailbreak go for a little longer before I give it a try. Read it killed some devices, but no bricks, so that's good I guess. Maybe in a few months.

Hit and run drivers suck!
My car just got rear ended today and the guy left the accident scene. He not only hit my car but another car too. Good thing we have the license plate # and filed a police report. WTF is wrong with people!? Don't tailgate! And don't hit and run!

No More iPhone
Well, the iPhone didn't last long. I thought I'd find more uses for it, but I did not, so I got rid of it. Was planning on using it for testing, but wasn't really in a mood to do any development lately. I ended up using it to browse the web in the bathroom and to play Bejeweled (now I'm playing JewelQuest on my Nokia). Sold it for $150, so back to where I started, not too bad.

Another Day Another Nail in the Tire
Just got a nail in one of my car tires, and wow, I can't believe the size of it. How in the world did it end up in my tire? Anyhow, it's been patched, hope it doesn't cause any problems like the patch on my other tire. This is the third year for my car, will have to get new tires at the end of this year. Luckily, I already have a new set with new rims, hopefully the rubber is still good on them. I heard tires should last at least 6 years, so this should be perfect.

I'm Probably an Idiot
So I finally got myself an iPhone 2G for $150, but it's not what I expected. Although it works fine, it's a little banged up and there are some dead spots and lines on the LCD (probably from a drop). After over a month of trying I gave up and figure this is the best I can do. Every works, upgraded it to 3.1.3 and jailbroken, so far so good, except for the screen that is. Good thing I wasn't planning on using it as my main phone, it's pretty banged up, surprised it still works. It's a new toy to use at home and the bathroom.
Why don't I just get an iPod Touch for $200? The iPhone gets OS updates for free while the iPod Touch updates are not. Since I also plan on using it for testing, I want to be running the latest OS. Plus, if I really need to, I can plug in my SIM and use it as a phone and access the Internet. I may want to get an iPod Touch too, most likely a new one this time.
